There is said to be no cure for tinnitus. Doctors can not cure tinnitus; they can only treat it by using tinnitus maskers, hearing aids, counseling and medicine or drugs. These treatments can make the tinnitus a lot better but will not cure it. To cure your tinnitus you need to improve in 3 key areas these are fitness, diet and mentality.

Lets start with fitness. Now tinnitus is known to be connected with blood circulation and blood pressure by becoming physically fit you will improve the blood circulation system within your body and also lower your blood pressure. A high blood pressure can caused by a lot of things one of which is your fitness another one would be anemia which is a condition where your blood is too thin. This thin blood rushes around your body too fast and when it rushes around you head you will hear it, This is another cause of tinnitus. You do not have to start going to gym everyday or start working out a lot but just make sure you do a bit to become fitter and to increase your bodies circulation system.

Now on to diet, which has a huge effect on people with tinnitus and by making simple changes it can make your tinnitus a lot better or even cure it. There are foods that are eaten by millions of people everyday which can not cause tinnitus but can make it worse for people who already have it. Some of these would be salt, monosodium glutamate, aspartame and some dairy products. We need to consume a certain amount of salt everyday so this is unavoidable but you can limit the amount you are having. Eat really good healthy food and you can not really go wrong but please take time to read the ingredients list to see what it contains.

The third key area is your mentality. It is common for people who suffer from tinnitus to also suffer from depression. I even heard a story that someone nearly commit suicide because of their condition. Depression only makes tinnitus worse, so you need to improve your mentality and think positive at all times. As you start exercising you will learn to relax better which in turn will make you more happy. Also exercise will help you sleep at night. Some anti depression drugs have side effects that will effect your tinnitus so you need to ask your doctor about the side effects of any drugs he has been giving you. By learning to relax and changing your diet your tinnitus will become softer allowing you to be more happy with life. So if you master areas one and two you should find three easy.
